My Favorite American Kobe Beef Jerky Recipe

Use:
1 seasoning and cure package of Nesco American Harvest Jerky products or follow the ingredients below:

Ingredients:
1 lb American Kobe ground beef
1 teaspoon non-iodized salt
1/2 teaspoon Accent seasoning
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tablespoon meat tenderizer
1/4 tablespoon pepper
5/8 tablespoon brown sugar
1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/8 cup liquid smoke
1/8 cup ketchup

Directions: Use Jerky Gun and ingredients above or (1 seasoning and cure package of Nesco American Harvest Jerky products) per pound or make your own seasoning by following the ingredients above.

1. Mix spices Kobe ground beef EXCEPT Worcestershire, liquid smoke and ketchup.
2. You need to really get your hands in to mix it well.
3. Press into strips with a jerky gun.
4. Mix Worcestershire, liquid smoke and ketchup in a shallow dish.
5. Coat strips with sauce.
6. Place on trays to dry.
7. Dry according to your dehydrator manufacturer’s instructions.

Other flavors as follows:
Hot and spicy - mix Louisiana hot sauce with water to thin a bit. Coat strips and dry.

BBQ - thin your favorite bottled bbq sauce with water. Coat strips and dry.
Teriyaki - thin bottled teriyaki sauce with soya sauce. Coat strips and dry.
